Working in the Health & Wellness industry, I am always looking for new ways to better explain the process of getting healthy. One day, I asked myself if I really had to break it down, what would be the 101, 202 and 303 of health?
So, I went to work, grabbed my pen, and started writing. In this post I will specifically cover the first level of health, the 101 level. It is particularly important because it is the foundation that you set your entire health journey on, so you want to build it out right.
Health 101:
On the foundational level it really comes down to three things:
Cellular Detox: How to fast, meaning taking out the trash of things that are dead, things that are no longer working, the waste, that is no longer serving us.
Cellular Repair: How to Breathe, meaning fixing the damage, the things that are broken, that are not working as well.
Cellular Nourish: How to Eat, meaning Bringing in new material for the cells to use to rebuild.
There are three things that help us do all of these. At this level, we need to learn how to fast, how to breathe and we really need to learn how to eat or consume.
When I say eat or consume, I am talking about more than just solid food through the mouth. I'm also talking about all the other ways in which we take in energy and matter, such as with the sun.
So, we are talking about things like sunbathing, sun gazing, grounding, dry brushing, how to sleep, how to recharge ourselves, how to hydrate ourselves, journaling, tongue brushing, detoxing.
These things along with many others will help us live a healthier lifestyle. If we think of ourselves as plants growing up from the earth, then this stuff makes a lot more sense.
If this sounds like something you want to achieve but have trouble holding yourself accountable, I do all of this through community feasting. We feast on the things that are good for us, let go of the things that are not serving us, are out of balance, out of harmony. All while allowing our body to heal itself.

When it comes to level 101, remember to take the time to focus on the foundational aspects of it because if you do not have that, there is no way you can move onto the 202 level and be successful.
It is just like building a house how do you expect to have a foundation that lasts when temptation, catastrophe, times of stress and all types of things come your way. But if you have that foundation set then you can move on without fear of completely crumbling down.
